Using Organic and Local Farm Supply

Using Organic and Local Farm Supply

Organic Produce & Local Supply

We at Cacao Catering & Events provide bespoke event management and catering service to a host of different functions with small to extremely large numbers of guests, both locally and overseas if the need arises. Our aim and goal is to provide these services to the exact specifications of our customer so we can make their dream of the best event a reality.

Although our work takes us around the United Kingdom and in some instances take us overseas for destination weddings, we always stick to our principles of procuring organic and local supply for our functions. This is a win-win scenario for both us and the local farmers and suppliers.

By working with the local suppliers, many items on our checklist get ticked off regarding quality and safety. It also helps us as we can always refer our clients to these local farmers so the clients themselves experience and see where the produce comes from, firsthand. We always get the freshest ingredients straight from the farms and in return, the local suppliers are incentivized. Our relationship with the local suppliers do not end there. If the partnership for one event or function is successful, we will always come back to these suppliers because we know firsthand that we will get the produce of highest quality. By supporting the local suppliers, it helps them grow and improve their produce and harvest which in turn will help catering services like Cacao Catering in future with better produce.

We stick by using organic produce as this helps nullify any suspicions of artificial additives or any hazardous chemicals being used when growing the produce. The advantage of working closely with local farmers is that we know the products they use to grow and maintain their farms and produce so we have absolutely no doubt that our clients are served dishes made with organic and healthy produce.

We believe consuming organic food is the way forward and will benefit not only the local farmers or us but also the planet on a much greater scale than we can fathom.
