We used Cacao Catering, for our wedding in July 2021. Our dream was to have the most fun and relaxed day, without compromising on quality. Where to begin? Obviously, the challenge we set Kushan and his team was incredibly difficult: A bride who had so many food intolerances that she could basically only eat lentils, potatoes and fish. No sauce, no seasoning, literally nothing else! A groom who was vegan and gluten-free. How does anyone produce a menu that is visually going to excite and taste delicious, with this incredibly complicated and restrictive brief?
Well, Kushan can!!!!
Everything from the canapés, to the wedding breakfast and the late night bowl food was an extraordinary burst of flavours, colours, textures and completely delicious. Hardened meat eaters were blown away, vegans were asking for recipes, everyone was just in awe, even the wedding venue manager asked for your details for future events. Words can not express our gratitude for even managing to present our daughter, the bride, with her own personalized meal, so that she could fully join in with the festivities too. In addition, the kitchen staff, additional chefs, waiting staff and bar staff were all fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They were fun, friendly and knew what was needed before we knew ourselves. We were all looked after as if we were kings and queens.
Finally, Abi deserves a special mention: From the first contact, nothing fazed her. She was understanding of Daisy’s health issues, took charge of all the details before and on the day, even helping to carry Daisy’s train for the photos. She is a complete star. I can not recommend Cacao Catering highly enough.
